There has been some discussion about removing or changing some of the original deed restrictions originally created in 1999.
Some of the restrictions that may be revisited include (but not limited to):
Limit of fences to 5-feet (section 14 B)
No Solar panels (section 9b)
No Storage tanks (section 9c)
No Above-ground pools (section 9f)
No window air conditioning units on any window facing the street (section 9g)
Process
Step 1: In order to start the process, a 2/3 majority (67%) of all homeowners need to vote yes, that the HOA can change the restrictions, without yet determining what those changes will be. This means we would need 254 homeowners (out of 378) to vote yes.
Step 2: A meeting is called where we would discuss and vote on changes. Only a simple majority of homeowners present is needed to pass proposed changes.
Step 3: The Board of Trustees will have our lawyers submit the paperwork based on what was voted on in step 2.
